Security Concerns or Sour Grapes?
Musk called the integration an “unacceptable security violation” and threatened to ban Apple devices at his companies, Tesla and SpaceX, over fears of compromised data. However, some experts point out that Apple has emphasized user control and privacy. The integration seems to be opt-in, requiring user permission before any data is shared with OpenAI’s servers. Additionally, Apple claims user data will be anonymized and not stored.
